Sunny Rainy Sunny in Prague

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Prague is a great lil' town - as Kath said, very touristy but beautiful. Lots of little lanes and very small area-wise, so everything is close together.
check out more info about prague
In the rain yesterday, we visited the Mucha Museum and learnt lots at the Communist museum, as well as seeing the astronomical clock and other beautiful sites around Prague.

Sorry no pictures yet - haven't found a place where I can upload them.

Aawwwwwww! No pics!!!

So my dear travelling adventurers, prague is gorgeous, non? Are you gonna get to see any of the tour de France when you get to France???

It's Lance Armstrong's swansong... can he win it a 7th time??? Hmmm? Huh? Hmmm? And there was this Aussie guy called Robbie Mc something who got disqualified because he was using his chin to hold back a fellow aussie during the final sprint to the finish line in stage 3 - it was pretty shocking!!! What was he thinking???

Yes, and the queensland got slaughtered by NSW in the final game in the origin last night (32-10)... there was fear that it was going to be a complete thrashing with no points on the board for queensland... thank god we got some points on the board!!!

And London is going to host the 2012 olympics... in case anyone's thinking of participating in it.

That wraps up this sports bulletin, we now go back to our live coverage of the Hongdon travellers...

Till next time,
*Happy Thoughts!* all round!

It was McEwen!
And there's been bombings in London so take care travellers two.

Guess what - it's been raining! However, we did have two clear days - good enough to see to Macau!

Goong Goong is delighted with the postcards. The latest arrived within 5 days. He was so impressed!
He has taken them in to Granny.

All is well here. Continue to have fun and we await the pics.... 8 days to go....!!

Lots of love

Hello, travellers.

I don't know where you are right now, but I just wanted to send a message right away to let you know that I'm ok. I was stuck at school in Central London for a few hours, but managed to get home safely. Londoners are amazing - everyone was walking home. I got lost a couple of times walking to Victoria and a couple of people stopped to volunteer directions.

The mobile networks were down so the school let students use the phones and staff kept everyone calm, although they must have been just as worried about loved ones. I called Mark and my brother Colin to let them know I was ok. I don't know if I will have class tomorrow as it may not be possible for students to come in to Central London.

Kath, I hope your family is ok. Have you heard from them?

Take care.

Great goings-on in London with first the Olympic bid won - the cheers! - now the bombs: British grit and stoicsm to the fore. Can't think how the harm done was not much, much worse. Daddy went in very early, by taxi, Killy had decided to walk, and Charles was going the other way, also very early. I was hoofing about locally, had a meeting scheduled for 4pm in Grays Inn, so cancelled
(obviously) and we have all been lucky. Daddy had to walk back from the City to Fulham (1 & 1/2 hours)
which he valiantly said was good
for his leg. Hmm. Anyway he and I
are now back in Wiltshire and fingers crossed for London. Thrilled your trip still going well, have a little bit of strength left for England - won't organise anything for you except a comfy bed, quiet and yummy grub.
Lots of love, Mum.xxx
